Side Stage Productions

Step into the spotlight with our Side Stage Productions, tailored specifically for young performers. These productions provide a supportive environment for aspiring actors, directors, and creatives to develop their skills, collaborate with peers, and experience the thrill of live theatre. With professional direction and guidance, participants gain valuable stage experience while having fun and making lasting friendships.

Workshops

Our Workshops are perfect for young thespians eager to refine their craft. Led by experienced instructors, these workshops cover various aspects of acting, including character development, voice and movement, improvisation, and scene study. Through interactive exercises and personalized feedback, participants build confidence and hone their performance skills in a fun and engaging setting.

We believe that financial barriers should not stand in the way of artistic expression. Bluegrass Theatre Guild currently offers two memorial scholarships to area high school seniors who have participated in theatre productions in the past and are pursuing a degree in performing arts. These scholarships are funded by fund raising efforts and personal donations.

Our Youth Council invites young leaders to take an active role in the governance and direction of Bluegrass Theatre Guild. As a member of the Youth Council, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with peers, provide input on programming and events, and work alongside our Board of Directors. Develop leadership skills, gain valuable experience in arts administration, and make a meaningful impact on your community.

Behind every great performance is a team of dedicated volunteers. At Bluegrass Theatre Guild, we offer young people in our community the chance to get involved behind the scenes. Whether it's assisting with set design, helping with costumes, or managing props, our volunteering opportunities teach responsibility, teamwork, and the inner workings of theatrical productions. Volunteering with us is a great way to earn service hours while contributing to the arts community.
